CallMantra – Fair Use Policy
(Applicable to CallMantra Premium Plan – 5,000 Minutes)
Fair use is calculated based on the average usage of the top 90th percentile of all CallMantra customers on the same level of service, multiplied by 1.5.
The CallMantra Premium Plan includes 5,000 minutes per billing cycle and is subject to this Fair Use Policy.
“5,000 minutes (subject to fair use policy)” means that you will not be charged any per‑minute fees unless your usage exceeds the average usage of most users on the same plan by more than 50%. If it does, a small per‑minute fee will apply only to the minutes used beyond the included 5,000‑minute plan.
The average usage is a dynamic value that is recalculated daily based on the most recent rolling 30‑day period and is not a fixed number.
Examples
(All examples below apply only to the CallMantra 5,000‑minute plan)
Example 1:
- The current average usage is 2,000 minutes/month
- The current fair use limit = 2,000 × 1.5 = 3,000 minutes/month
- Your plan: Pro Plan (1000 minutes included)
- Your usage is 4,800 minutes/month on your bill date
- Even though you have exceeded the fair use limit, you are still within the included 5,000‑minute plan
- You pay $0.00 for minutes used
Example 2:
- The current average usage is 3,000 minutes/month
- The current fair use limit = 3,000 × 1.5 = 4,500 minutes/month
- Your usage is 5,000 minutes/month on your bill date
- You are within the included 5,000‑minute plan
- You pay $0.00 for minutes used
Example 3:
- The current average usage is 3,000 minutes/month
- The current fair use limit = 3,000 × 1.5 = 4,500 minutes/month
- Your usage is 5,400 minutes/month on your bill date
- You have exceeded:
The included 5,000‑minute plan by 400 minutes - You are charged only for the 400 minutes used beyond the included plan, at the applicable per‑minute rate
Important Notes:
- Fair use limits are used to identify abnormal or excessive usage patterns compared to most customers on the same plan
- Customers are never charged when their usage is at or below the included 5,000 minutes
- Billing applies only to minutes used beyond the included plan limit
- Included minutes reset on each billing cycle
- Unused minutes do not roll over
CallMantra reserves the right to modify this Fair Use Policy at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
